A scheduled doubleheader between the Martinsville Mustangs and Asheboro Copperheads was rained out on Wednesday night at Hooker Field. The two contests will not be made-up.
Martinsville will hit the road for the final time on Thursday night, facing off against the Peninsula Pilots in Hampton. The Mustangs season finale is this Saturday, August 4 at 7:15 p.m. against the Wilson Tobs at Hooker Field. Join the Mustangs for Community Giveback Night and a postgame fireworks show! Heading into its 22nd season in 2018, the CPL features 16 franchises playing in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.
