Mustangs Release 2019 Promotional Schedule

The Martinsville Mustangs are excited to officially release the 2019 promotional schedule.

Celebrating 15 summers of Coastal Plain League baseball at Hooker Field in 2019, the Mustangs will open the home slate against the Wilson Tobs on Friday, May 31 at 7:15 p.m. The first 100 fans through the gates will receive a free magnet schedule and the first pitch will delivered via helicopter, courtesy of AirLife Virginia. The team is also offering a special Opening Night ticket package where fans can secure four general admission tickets, four hot dogs and four canned sodas for just $32. This deal can only be purchased online and will not be available at the box office on gameday. Click here to buy your Opening Night package. 

Opening Night 2019 is also a Thirsty Thursday, where fans can enjoy $2 beer and $2 sodas. Fan-favorite Dollar Monday's will also return this season, featuring $1 general admission tickets, $1 hot dogs and $1 beer.

The Mustangs will recognize educators and teachers throughout Martinsville-Henry County on Thursday, June 6. Current teachers and educators with a valid school ID can receive free admission. 

On Saturday, June 8, the Mustangs will host the Forest City Owls and light up the sky with the first of three scheduled postgame fireworks shows. 

You can travel to a galaxy, far, far away at Hooker Field with the return of the popular Star Wars Night on Saturday, June 15. Fans should be on the lookout for character meet-and-greet opportunities on the concourse before and during the game. 

Boogity, Boogity! Be sure to race to the ballpark on Wednesday, June 19 when the Mustangs host NASCAR night, presented by the Martinsville Speedway. Fans will have the opportunity to win race tickets, grab special Speedway giveaways and even have the chance to meet special guests. 

On Friday, June 21, bring your future Mustang to the ballpark for Little League night. Little leaguers wearing their baseball/softball jersey will receive free admission.

City of Martinsville employees will want to head out to the game on Thursday, June 27 when the Mustangs take on the Edenton Steamers. Be one of the first 100 fans throught the gates and receive a free Mustangs koozie. All city employees with valid ID will receive free admission. 

The second fireworks show of the season takes place on Friday, July 5 at the annual Salute the Troops game, presented by the Law Office of Heath Sabin. All active and retired military receive free admission. 

Help the Mustangs "Pink Out" Hooker Field and Strike Out Cancer with the American Cancer Society on Saturday, July 6. All fans are encouraged to show your support by wearing pink and all cancer survivors will be recognized during the game for your strength and determination. 

Break out your scrunchies, overalls and windbreaker jackets for 90's night on Friday, July 12, presented by Patrick Henry Community College. Stick around afterwards for a free postgame concert by The Andy Burnette Trio. 
 

The next Friday, July 19, is Hometown Heroes Night, where all Law Enforcement, Career and Volunteer Fire/EMS, Dispatch and Sovah Health Employees will receive free admission. 

Baseball BINGO returns for the Mustangs doubleheader on Wednesday, July 24 against Gastonia and Tuesday, July 30 vs. Forest City. 

Villains (and opposing team) be warned. Dress up as your favorite crime fighters on Saturday, July 27 at Superhero Night, presented by Hooker Furniture. 

The Mustangs regular season home finale is set for Thursday, August 1. Courtesy of Bankers Life Insurance, all fans will receive free admission as part of the Great Community Giveback and can enjoy a postgame fireworks show. 

All home games begin at 7:15 p.m. with doubleheaders beginning at 6:15 p.m.
